Ladies night

Thats right, I never thought I would say it, but it was a great ladies night tonight! The reason for this is because I dressed up as a woman and won first prize at the hallowe'en party we attended! I'll post a picture tomorrow - Susie was dressed as an angel (a hot one btw...) but too bad my long legs and sheepish looks took first prize - I think I won because I flashed a lot!!!

17 minutes of pain

Yes, this year it took me 17 minutes and 49 seconds to climb what I call "the tower of pain". I'm still trying to remember how long it took me to climb last year - I believe it was a similar time. I had the same strategy last year - jog as far as you can then walk the rest - this year made it 18 flights then had to walk the rest.

The key to the tower is not stopping - your body is screaming at you to stop (muscles burning, lungs burning, the inside of your mouth telling you to stop) but you need to keep moving.

I do this every year, my goal is to beat my time next year!

Back again

As I'm sure you've read by now, my little blog was hacked again - so I said enough of simplog. I guess this problem happens with open source - everyone can see your code, so if you do not frequently update your code (or reliably test your code) - it can be buggy and security can be a problem. I've been hacked twice now - so I've decided to post over here.

Doing the CN tower public climb tomorrow - lots of stairs to climb. Tonight will be sitting back, eating a sub and drinking a few pints - I can already feel the pain of tomorrow (not that beer with fix the pain - it will in fact add to it).

I'll make sure I post here about as often as I posted on my other blog (about once in a blue moon) and hopefully this time won't get hacked!
