17 minutes of pain
Yes, this year it took me 17 minutes and 49 seconds to climb what I call "the tower of pain". I'm still trying to remember how long it took me to climb last year - I believe it was a similar time. I had the same strategy last year - jog as far as you can then walk the rest - this year made it 18 flights then had to walk the rest.
The key to the tower is not stopping - your body is screaming at you to stop (muscles burning, lungs burning, the inside of your mouth telling you to stop) but you need to keep moving.
I do this every year, my goal is to beat my time next year!
