I've been really busy at work lately, so much so, it is taking over my sleep! It looks like it will slowly come to a end, but as you all know, once you are deemed "able to conquor any task" then the work load gets piled even higher.
For me, I manage multiple tasks at work (and an employee) - some of these task are the routine "do task A every X period(s)" (x equals insert any time frame here). These tasks take time out of your day - but management just figures once you're able to do something it will not take the same amount of time next time.
I've been working on a project that basically depending on who you are, we target certain things toward you (this breaks the typical mold of mass marketing). In marketing terms (or CRM) this typically means moving towards a one-to-one relationship. Where I'm going with this is basically no-one in my company has been able to do this and I've been tasked with pulling it out in less than two months (which looks like it will happen). But I've been slugging longer hours because I've been battling the day to day tasks as well as working through the complexities of the new task.
